Area SUNY Potsdam Students Earn Spots on the College's President's List
The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named more than 900 students to the President's List for the Fall 2011 semester in recognition of their academic excellence.
SUNY Potsdam President Dr. John F. Schwaller honored a total of 906 students for earning the highest marks in Fall 2011.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2011. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours.

The following students displayed artwork in the Design Student Exhibition at Buffalo State's Czurles-Nelson Gallery in late-November.

Wilkes University Pharmacy Students Serve in Guatemala
A team of four Wilkes University pharmacy students joined Bernard Graham, dean of Wilkes' Nesbitt College of Pharmacy and Nursing, and over fifty health care professionals from the United States and Canada to aid the Glens Falls Medical Mission Foundation on a trip to Nueva Santa Rosa, Guatemala, from April 28 to May 7.
The students worked as pharmacy technicians and translators, helping physicians choose appropriate drug therapy for their patients, negotiating with local pharmacies for special medication, and providing basic medical care for needy villagers. The team also visited an orphanage for young girls where they donated toys and clothing.
